CNC Machinist & Maintenance Mechanic
Hydraulic Press Operator
We are a growing 65 year old manufacturer of engineered plastic products serving the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. We are looking for a mechanically-inclined person for training in the processing and fabrication of plastic products to fill a position as a hydraulic press and industrial oven operator.
• Do you have the drive to learn new skills and grow your abilities?

• Can you calculate ounces from pounds?
• Do you know your way around a tape measure, a level and other hand tools?

In addition to learning the art and science of compression molding using hydraulic presses, responsibilities include oven operation, inventory counts, light janitorial, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have upper intermediate level English spoken and written English proficiency.
Wage will be commensurate with work experience and qualifications. Overtime is available on an as-needed basis. Our facility is a clean, modern and climate controlled. Inside Sales & Order Processing
We are a growing manufacturer of engineered plastic products serving the chemical and pharmaceutical industries with a new opportunity for the right person to fill a challenging and vital Inside Sales & Order Processing position.
• Do you have the drive to help our customers understand our products, to respond to technical questions and to solve customer problems?
• Are you comfortable writing emails in Microsoft Outlook and letters in Microsoft Word?
• Would you feel confident modifying data in an Excel document?
• Can you convert a fraction to a decimal with ease?
• Do think on your feet to stay one step ahead of your customers?

The right candidate will bring an attention to detail and the excellent telephone and written communication and interpersonal skills that are required to handle customer inquiries and quotations, process orders and shipments as well as other general sales and administrative duties.
This position is available as either part-time or full-time.

We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual to operate our manual and/or CNC turning machines and to perform maintenance across a wide array of manual and CNC machine and fabrication tools.
Experience with the following is welcome but not necessary…
• General knowledge of manual turning and milling operation
• Use precision inspection tools (e.g. calipers, mics etc.) to inspect the parts produced
• Read and interpret part drawings/blueprints
• Experience performing maintenance, diagnostics and repair on machinery or similar equipment.
… but a willingness to learn is most important! We will are happy to train someone interested in developing their knowledge experience and skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have good spoken and written English proficiency.
